The World Freestyle Dance Championships is held in Blackpool, UK each year in June.
To qualify to represent South Africa at the World Championships in Blackpool, a dancer must meet a strict set of criteria established by the South African Dance Teachers' Association.
Throughout the year, it is compulsory for dancers to compete in specific qualifying competitions where their performances are closely evaluated. Their achievements at these events, such as placements and overall consistency are taken into account to determine whether they meet the required standard. Only those who demonstrate exceptional skill, dedication, and results at these competitions earn the opportunity to represent South Africa on the world stage, making qualification a prestigious accomplishment. ⭐🏆
